Financing Facilities for Claims
Financing facilities are available after we assess the value of a project, which can take between a few weeks to a few months, depending on complexity.
Financing facilities are typically capped at $5 million and in any event, will not surpass 10% of the value of a project. Meaning that the claim must be assessed at a minimum value of $50 million to be eligible for a $5 million financing facility. Minimum financing facility of $500k for smaller claims.
Financing is typically provided at a pre-agreed APR.
Judgement or award security arrangements are available.
Monetization of Awards and Judgements
We assess awards or judgements based on factors including quality of the award, how old the award is and critically, in which jurisdiction and against which entity it will need to be enforced.
Assessments can take between a few days to a few weeks, depending on complexity of the enforcement strategy.
We can invest up to $15 million to monetize early judgements or awards. For larger awards or judgements monetization is typically structured with a maximum upfront payment of $15 million, a catchup and then a pari passu distribution on enforcement to a pre-agreed ratio.
